We have been invited to attend a very special 35th anniversary Garden Party, marking 35 years since they welcomed their first patient.

Hosted in the much-loved Hospice gardens during the summer of 2025, friends from across the community from the past 35 years will attend to celebrate this milestone of care and support.

Entrance is FREE with a delightful afternoon of celebrations to include:

Ceremonial activities to mark the 35th anniversary
A film detailing '35 Years of St. Luke's Hospice'
A beautiful Sunflower Meadow of ironwork sunflowers
Catering by their Luke's Sunflower Cafe
Shopping village with a variety of stalls
Essex Police Thurrock Community Team with Police vehicles
Face painting
Donkey petting
Entertainment including live music and dancing

The UK Garrison costumers will be at the event between 12:00 and 16:00.

Event times

The times given are the times we will be on site at the event but unfortunately this doesn't necessarily mean we will be available to meet you throughout the whole of this period. With all our events, we cannot guarantee what costumers will be available to attend as we are all volunteers who do this in our spare time so it is always on a 'best endeavours' basis.

Cancellations

Unfortunately, sometimes our attendance at an event is cancelled. This is infrequent but can happen for a variety of reasons including the event itself being cancelled or rescheduled by the organiser, inclement weather, costumers that are within the locale of that event being unavailable or ill. We recommend that you check back regularly with this calendar to ensure our attendance at a particular event is still scheduled.
